Before starting Glenn Jones Art, Glenn was a creative director and worked on some of New Zealand's most well-known brands, including Tip Top, Lotto and Frucor. To his surprise, he found internet fame in the mid 2000s with his quirky T-shirt designs, which led to him creating his own US-based T-shirt brand. He really hit the big time when his tees were worn on-screen by the stars of the Big Bang Theory and they’ve since found their way onto the chests of celebrities and hundreds of thousands of fans globally. Google got him to design their Santa Tracker two years in a row, and Facebook HQ reached out to offer him a job a few years ago.
Julia is a qualified civil engineer – prior to working for Glenn Jones Art, she had an established 20-year career as a project manager in the construction industry. While on maternity leave, Julia used her experience and knowledge to turn Glenn Jones Art into a business, creating the opportunity for the couple to work from home and spend time with their young children. Today, Julia is often the first point of contact at Glenn Jones Art, overseeing day-to-day operations, customer liaison, commercial collaborations and big-picture strategy.
