Earlier this year, the newly refurbished Christchurch Town Hall was opened to the public. This refurbishment project was undertaken to strengthen foundations and repair damage caused by the 2010 and 2011 Christchurch earthquakes, along with an upgrade and refurbishment of the existing facility.
Glenn Jones Art was selected to provide art work for the green rooms, orchestra room, conductors room, offices and staff room. We are really pleased that a NZ artist has been chosen, and that a number of Glenn's New Zealand inspired art prints fill out the town hall.
There is still more work to do on the Town Hall, and we look forward to seeing the finished product.
