Mauao is one of them. Standing proudly at the end of the beach, it's been welcoming locals home and drawing visitors back for generations. Whether you've climbed to the summit, walked around the base or simply stretched out on the sand, it's a place that's hard to forget.

This print is part of my Scenic Series, inspired by the places around New Zealand that stay with us long after we've packed the car and headed home. The beaches, towns and landscapes that become part of our own story.

For this artwork, I wanted to capture one of Mount Maunganui's most recognisable views. The gentle curve of the beach draws your eye towards Mauao, while the calm blue water and clean, open sky create the relaxed feeling that makes this place so special. It's less about the individual landmarks and more about the balance between them.

Whether Mount Maunganui is where you live, where you holiday, or simply somewhere that always feels like summer, I hope this print brings back happy memories every time you see it.
