There was a time when these signs hung in the windows of shops all over New Zealand. One side read "Come In, We're Open", the other politely let you know "Sorry, We're Closed." Simple, practical and instantly familiar.

This artwork gives that nostalgic shop sign a Glenn Jones twist. Here, the coffee machine has its own opening hours, and until the first cup has been finished, everything else will just have to wait.

Priority Service is an art print from my Coffee Inspired collection, celebrating Kiwi coffee culture, familiar everyday objects and the rituals that many of us simply couldn't do without.
