Message To My Girl is an original love letter created almost entirely from the titles of celebrated Kiwi songs. Every coloured phrase references a well-known New Zealand track, carefully woven together to create a message that reads naturally from beginning to end.

It took a lot of time to write. Finding the right song titles was only part of the challenge – they also had to flow together into a story that felt genuine. The result is a piece that's both a celebration of New Zealand music and a puzzle for music lovers, rewarding those who recognise each title along the way.

Whether you spot every reference or simply enjoy the story it tells, this artwork celebrates the creativity of New Zealand musicians and the songs that have become part of our lives.
