Paranormal Potatoes takes inspiration from the iconic road safety campaign and imagines what might happen if a packet of hot chips became just a little... supernatural. As one serving slowly disappears, it leaves behind a friendly ghostly version of itself – a playful nod to one of New Zealand's most memorable TV ads.

Like many of my artworks, the joke rewards those who recognise the reference, while still standing on its own as a fun visual idea. It's a celebration of Kiwi humour, pop culture and, of course, our enduring love of a good serve of hot chips.
